Our Overnight Shift Lead make a meaningful difference in the lives of adolescents in need of compassionate care and support. We are seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about employee development, promoting mental wellness and providing support to staff and students.

 The mission of the Overnight Shift Lead is to ensure safety through adherence to all Policies and Procedures, and to support students in all aspects of daily life, ensuring their needs are met. The Overnight Shift Lead is responsible for aligning with the Program Director in establishing and maintaining a positive staff culture at Chrysalis. This position will be expected to develop their shift team to run their shift smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors and cares for the physical and emotional needs of Chrysalis' students during traditional sleeping hours.
  • Manage Overnight team.
  • Ensures that each student is safe and is in her assigned bed.
  • Assists students and staff with any immediate needs.
  • Remains alert and awake at all times.
  • Manage coverage.
  • Punctuality and dependability are essential.
  • Other duties assigned for record upkeep for internal and state regulations.

Qualifications

  • Age: 21+ years of age or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required. Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values.
  • Experience: Min of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations in a management position
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training 
  • Background Checks: Must pass pre-employment drug screen and federal and state background check in concordance with Montana state laws.
